Show Two: A Bigger Room

We just wrapped our second Little Rooms Concert, and if you weren't in the room, you missed a really cool night . If you were there, thank you. You're the reason this show happened at all. This time we moved into a much bigger room at The Tuning Fork. More artists, bigger sets, a real gamble compared to our first show, which was small and acoustic. We didn't know exactly how it would go, but we backed ourselves and went for it.

Honestly, it's a tough time to be putting on live music right now. Cost of living has everyone watching their dollars, and gigs are often the first thing to get cut from a budget. So every person who chose to spend their coins on us meant everything. That choice is what keeps this whole thing alive.

When doors opened, the room was still filling up. A gentle reminder for next time: get there early. The opener loves a full room too, and there's nothing better than walking into a packed space from the first note. Maria Clara opened the night with her band, and they were incredible. Her vocals were as tight as ever, the band locked in together, and she closed with an Olivia Dean cover that had us completely in our feelings. You'll have to catch her next show to hear it for yourself.

Furro 4404 brought dancers who owned the stage, and Furro himself was a joy to watch. So much energy, so much swag!

Then our headliner TîMMY the FIRST and the London Street Band took the stage, and they were something else. TîMMY knows exactly how to hold a crowd, moving through hip hop with Zim influences woven through his set. You could feel the whole room vibing with him.

We closed the night with DJ CALLMEAK and DJ MANGALISO on the decks. Some people headed home, but the ones who stayed had an amazing time. They danced the whole way through, a good way to end the work week.

Huge thank you to Matt, who helped coordinate our artists on the night and kept everything moving. And thank you to The Tuning Fork for hosting us.

Here's the thing about Little Rooms. It only works because of the people in the room. Every show, every artist, every night like this one exists because someone decided to show up, bring a friend, or post about it after. You are not just the audience. So if this made you wish you'd been there, be the person who tells someone else about the next one. Tell a friend, post about the night if you were there. That's how Little Rooms grows.

And if you want to be first to know when the next show drops, sign up to our mailing list here. We'll only ever email you the details of the next show, nothing else.

Until next time.
